The bitcoin november 2 ladder on Polymarket has turned into a true coin flip at the $78,000 line. At our 06:03 UTC snapshot on November 1 (09:03 MSK), "above $78,000 on November 2" traded at 49% Yes, while "above $76,000" sat near 89%. What actually happened
The last 72 hours were all about the Binance hack. Bitcoin slid below $77,000 on Friday as the exchange paused withdrawals, and spot bitcoin ETFs lost about $643 million in a single session, according to Farside data cited by CryptoSlate. The weekend brought a calmer tone.
On Saturday, the FBI said North Korea's TraderTraitor unit was behind the theft. Binance then said it had covered about 90% of the stolen tokens, and early on Sunday co-CEO Richard Teng posted that the figure had reached about 95% and that a phased restart of withdrawals was underway. The first window runs from 06:00 to 09:00 UTC and covers BTC, ETH, BNB, SOL, XRP and other selected networks, per TokenPost.
That is the backdrop for the bitcoin november 2 market. Yesterday's ladder for November 1 had the $78K rung near 27.5%. Today the same strike for one day later is priced as an even bet.
What Polymarket thinks
Here is the bitcoin november 2 ladder from the Polymarket API at 06:03:20 UTC:
- Above $74,000: about 97.8% Yes
- Above $76,000: about 89% Yes
- Above $78,000: about 49% Yes
- Above $80,000: about 7.5% Yes
- Above $82,000: about 1.6% Yes
The event had about $185,000 in total volume, with roughly $64,000 traded in the previous 24 hours. The $78K rung had a 47/49 cent book, so the quote is fairly tight for a daily market.
Read it as a probability curve. The crowd puts the center of mass right on $78,000, only a few hundred dollars above spot. A move to $80,000 by Monday noon ET would need a rally of nearly 3%, and traders give that roughly a one-in-thirteen chance. A drop below $76,000 is priced at about 11%.

The bitcoin november 2 market is basically asking one question: does the Binance reopening calm the tape or shake it?
What could move the ladder
The first test is the withdrawal window itself. Binance warned that high traffic could cause delays or failed withdrawals at the start. A smooth reopening would remove one of the biggest weights on sentiment. Visible stress, such as long queues or new pauses, would likely push the ladder lower.
The second is Monday's traditional market open. Next week also brings US midterm elections on November 3 and a jobs report later in the week. Crypto has traded closely with tech stocks lately, so a weak equity open could drag the $78K rung down fast.
The third is ETF flows. Friday's $643 million exit ended a four-day inflow streak, and Monday is the first session where US funds can react to the FBI attribution and the Binance restart. Another heavy outflow day would undercut any weekend bounce, while a return to inflows would support the upper rungs.
We tracked the prior day in bitcoin november 1 and the breach itself in binance 6.3b hack. The pattern so far: bad hack news pushed the ladder down, while recovery updates have slowly pulled it back toward spot.
What to do as a reader
Treat the ladder as a sentiment gauge, not a forecast. At 49%, the $78K rung says the market has no edge either way, and a single headline can move it 10 to 20 points in an hour.
