UFO files odds put a new declassified release by November 30 near 64% on Polymarket, after the Pentagon's seventh batch described a silent black triangle.

UFO files odds: 64% for New Release by November 30
tl;dr
  • The seventh release went online on October 23 at war.gov/UFO and contained 28 documents, with no videos.
  • The headline file describes a black triangular object, about 15 feet wide, that rose, hovered and dropped into a canyon without a sound.
  • The Department of War says more files will come out "on a rolling basis", but it has not given a date for the next batch.

UFO files odds took off after the Pentagon's seventh batch of declassified records described a silent black triangle seen by federal agents this year. Polymarket opened a market on October 26 asking whether the Trump administration will declassify new UFO files by set dates. At 06:03 UTC (09:03 MSK) on October 28, "by November 30" sat near 64% Yes, while "by November 15" was only about 9.5%.

What actually happened

The Department of War has been publishing UAP records, the government's term for UFOs, under a program called PURSUE. The first release came on May 8, 2026, and the seventh landed on Friday, October 23. USA Today reports the program follows President Trump's orders to disclose more of what the government knows about UFOs.

The star of Release 07 is a 2026 sighting. Two federal agents told the Pentagon's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) and the FBI that they watched a flat black triangle with a wingspan of about 15 feet rise around 300 feet, hold still for about 20 seconds, then descend into a canyon without noise or a vapor trail. USA Today says it was seen over two days in June over a "sensitive national security site" in the western US. Instead of photos, the file includes an artist's rendering placed on a photo of the canyon. Much of it is redacted.

The rest is older material. UAP.GLOBAL's breakdown lists nine contractor reports done for the Defense Intelligence Agency between 2008 and 2010, including a 2010 report on a Utah ranch, plus Air Force cards and reports from the 1950s. Some old cards name a plain cause, such as a meteor or the planet Jupiter.

What Polymarket thinks

The market is "Trump declassifies new UFO files by…?" with three dates at our snapshot:

  • By November 15: about 9.5%
  • By November 30: about 64%
  • By December 31: about 97.7%

The question we track is "Trump declassifies new UFO files by November 30?" at about 64%, with a bid of 63 cents and an ask of 64 cents. It is a small market, with about $43,600 traded across all dates.

The curve fits a simple rhythm. Seven releases between May 8 and October 23 works out to roughly one every four weeks on average. Four weeks after October 23 lands around November 20, which sits between the two November dates. That is why the November 15 line is cheap and November 30 is near two-thirds. We have seen the same calendar logic in date-bracket markets like Gemini Carbon odds and count markets like Claude outage odds.

Rolling releases are a schedule without a calendar. Traders are pricing the average gap, not a promise.

Why UFO files odds ignore the content

None of this shows aliens. AARO has repeatedly said it has never found evidence that extraterrestrials are behind the reports it investigates, and NASA's 2023 study reached the same conclusion, as USA Today notes. The files show what people reported and what officials wrote down at the time. They do not explain the triangle.

That matters for the market only in one way. Resolution depends on new, previously unpublished files being declassified, not on what they contain. A dull batch of 1950s radar cards counts exactly as much as a dramatic new sighting.

What to do as a reader

Before trading UFO files odds, read the resolution rule. Polymarket says announcements of declassification that are not carried out within the time frame do not count, and it uses official US government information or a consensus of credible reporting.

Watch war.gov/UFO directly instead of social media. Fake "leaked UFO files" spread fast after every release. When the next batch drops, prices for the earliest open date will jump within minutes.

Size small. A rolling schedule can slip by weeks for reasons nobody announces. Check the live Polymarket market before acting. Nothing here is investment advice.
