What actually happened
WCCB Charlotte reported that President Donald Trump returns to the Charlotte-area market for a midterm stop backing South Carolina U.S. Senate candidate Darline Graham. The venue is the Rock Hill Sports and Events Center. Doors open at nine in the morning, and the president is scheduled to speak at 12:30 p.m.
The official Trump 47 Committee event page lists the same times and the street address at 326 Technology Center Way, Rock Hill, SC 29730. Tickets are capped at four per signup, with SMS confirmation required before registration is complete.
South Carolina Public Radio had flagged the Rock Hill stop earlier in the week as Trump's second South Carolina rally in October and his third of 2026. SCPR noted Graham was appointed by Gov. Henry McMaster to finish the term after the death of her brother, the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, and that the race is contested by Andrews plus two third-party candidates. Early voting was already underway when SCPR filed. This Rock Hill event is separate from the Chillicothe, Ohio stop covered in our Trump Ohio rally odds piece.
What Polymarket thinks
The highlight market we track for this Rock Hill stop is "Will Trump say "America First" during his Midterm Rally in South Carolina?" at about 95% Yes at the 06:11 UTC snapshot. Event volume was only about $16,000 total and about $15,400 in 24 hours, so these are still thin mention markets.
Other midpoints from the same snapshot:
- "Hormuz" or "Blockade": about 76.5%
- "Million" / "Billion" / "Trillion" 30+ times: about 65.5%
- "Transgender" 7+ times: about 57.5%
- "Russia" or "Ukraine": about 54.5%
- "Bitcoin" or "Crypto" or "Cryptocurrency": about 1.95%
- Rally does not air: about 0.5%
Crypto remains a near-no across recent Trump phrase boards, matching the pattern in Trump Michigan rally odds and Trump Georgia rally odds. Traders treat "America First" as almost automatic rally language, while a Hormuz or blockade mention is priced as plausible but not locked.
How phrase markets resolve
Polymarket's event description says Donald Trump is scheduled to give remarks at this named Rock Hill midterm rally on October 29 at 12:30 p.m. ET. A market resolves to Yes only if he says the listed term during that appearance. Speeches, interviews, or comments outside the named event do not count. The resolution source is audio or video of the event, under Polymarket's Mentions contract rules.
That setup creates two practical risks. First, run time: a short speech can kill several Yes prices at once. Second, exact wording: plurals, compounds, and near-misses can decide a thin market. With under $16,000 of event volume, a few orders can still move a bracket by several points.
In a Trump SC rally mention market, you are pricing a transcript, not a poll.
What to do as a reader
Read the full Mentions rules before you trade any Trump SC rally bracket. Confirm whether "America First" needs the exact two-word phrase and whether nearby variants qualify. Check the live Polymarket event right before the speech.
Mark 19:30 MSK for remarks. Thin order books mean wide spreads once the broadcast starts, so prefer limit orders. Size small: a 95% market can still lose if the phrase never appears, and lower-probability lines can spike on a single sentence.
