  • Kickoff is 9:00 PM CET on Sunday, October 25, which is 20:00 UTC, 4:00 PM ET and 23:00 Moscow time.
  • Barcelona sit top of La Liga with 27 points from nine games; Real Madrid are third on 21, so a home win would open a nine-point gap.
  • Both sides are short-handed: Vinicius Jr. is suspended, and Barcelona are missing Dani Olmo, Eric Garcia and Andreas Christensen.

El Clasico odds on Polymarket make Barcelona the clear favorite for Sunday night at Camp Nou. As of 05:59 UTC on October 25, traders priced a Barcelona win at about 59.5%, a Real Madrid win at about 26.5% and a draw at about 15.5%, with more than $1 million already traded on the match.

What actually happened

This is the first Clasico of the 2026-27 La Liga season, matchday 10, and the table makes it huge. Barca Blaugranes lists Barcelona first on 27 points and Real Madrid third on 21. Sports Illustrated notes that Hansi Flick's side has won all nine league games and could become the first team in history to open a season with 10 straight wins.

Barcelona arrive off a bruise, though. They lost 4-2 at Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League midweek, their first defeat of the season. Real Madrid, under Jose Mourinho, have won four in a row in all competitions according to Barca Blaugranes, but have looked shaky at the back.

The team news is heavy on both sides. Per Sports Illustrated and The Standard, Barcelona are without Olmo (adductor), Christensen and Eric Garcia (thigh) and Roony Bardghji (ACL), while Jules Kounde is a major doubt with an ankle problem. Madrid lose Vinicius Jr. to a suspension after his red card against Villarreal, and Raul Asencio, Rodrygo and Ferland Mendy are injured.

What Polymarket thinks

Polymarket lists the game as "FC Barcelona vs. Real Madrid CF," with three separate yes/no markets. Here is our snapshot from the Polymarket API at 05:59 UTC on October 25:

  • Barcelona win: about 59.5% (bid 59 cents, ask 60)
  • Draw: about 15.5%
  • Real Madrid win: about 26.5%

The headline question is "Will FC Barcelona win on 2026-10-25?" and it traded at roughly 59.5% Yes. Total event volume was about $1.05 million, with most of it, oddly, on the Real Madrid line. That usually means bigger tickets taking the underdog side, not a better chance for Madrid.

UK bookmakers, as quoted by The Standard, had Barcelona at 8/13, Real Madrid at 3/1 and the draw at 4/1. Strip out the bookmaker margin and those prices land close to the Polymarket split. In other words, the El Clasico odds are not some crypto-native outlier. Sharp money and the crowd agree on who is favored.

A 60% favorite still loses four times out of ten. In a derby with two depleted squads, that number deserves respect.

How to read the matchup

The case for Barcelona is form and home turf. Raphinha has been scoring freely, Lamine Yamal is on the wing, and a win would hit Madrid's title hopes hard. Barca Blaugranes predicts a 4-2 home win but warns about Madrid's counterattacks and set pieces.

The case for Madrid is Kylian Mbappe and Mourinho. Expect a deeper block and quick breaks into the space behind Barcelona's high line. Yan Diomande is likely to start on the flank in place of Vinicius, according to both previews.

The draw price looks low for a Clasico, but draws are hard to back when the home side is unbeaten in the league and the away side needs to chase. What to do as a reader

Check the live Polymarket match page right before kickoff. Team sheets usually drop about an hour earlier, and a surprise on Kounde or a Madrid lineup change will move the El Clasico odds fast.

Know the clock. Kickoff is 20:00 UTC on Sunday, the same day Europe switches back from summer time, so double-check your local time. Live sports markets also pause or jump on goals, and spreads can widen in seconds.

Treat this like any sports bet: entertainment money only. Our World Series odds breakdown explains why favorites priced near 60% still lose all the time. Nothing here is investment advice, and if betting stops being fun, step away.
