The Puffernoodle PFNDL surge is a Robinhood Chain launch-effect story with two very different photographs. RobinSwap’s automated top-10 report at 14:02 UTC on October 15 had PFNDL at $0.0000312, up 14,274% over 24 hours, on $4.17M of volume and about $238K of liquidity in a Uniswap V4 pool that was only about two hours old. By roughly 05:58 UTC on October 16, DexScreener showed about $0.000009883, a ~$988K market cap, ~$274K of liquidity and ~$6.30M of 24-hour volume — with the last hour down about 53%.

What actually happened

Robinhood Chain’s October 15 tape, per RobinSwap, was dominated by pools younger than a day. Tracked DEX volume hit $824.1M across 224 pools, and every top mover in that snapshot came from a pool 21 hours old or newer. PFNDL ranked #2 on that mover board behind Commander Vrax, with buyers leading sellers 1,863 to 795 at the capture. RobinSwap found no news catalyst — just a fresh pool and a buyer skew.

That is the same “listing effect first, thesis later” pattern we keep hitting in Robinhood Chain meme losses and in yesterday’s CHOMP MEXC listing coverage of the broader Robinhood meme narrative. Huge percentage gains on two-hour-old books are what scanners are built to celebrate and what risk desks are built to fade.

Reading the Puffernoodle PFNDL surge cooldown

We are not blending the RobinSwap and DexScreener prints into a fake average. The afternoon card shows a multi-thousand-percent launch wick; the morning card shows a lower dollar price, still-elevated 24-hour percentage change, deeper reported liquidity, and a brutal one-hour drawdown. That combination usually means overnight traders are rotating while the 24-hour window still includes the birth wick.

Liquidity near $274K against a sub-$1M cap is deeper than many same-day Solana microcaps, but it is still a small room. A few large clips can reprice the pool. There is no public project manifesto in the RobinSwap write-up — PFNDL shows up as a community meme ticker — so treat social claims as unverified until they match the contract above.

New pool, old lesson: the first candle is a discovery auction, not a valuation.

DexScreener’s pair URL for the lead Uniswap pool is the practical bookmark if you need a live chart rather than a ranked table. Compare it with Blockscout or the explorer Robinhood docs recommend before you bridge anything.

Robinhood Chain’s launch-effect tape

RobinSwap’s October 15 market snapshot is the backdrop that makes the Puffernoodle PFNDL surge look less unique and more environmental. Uniswap V4 and V3 on Robinhood each cleared hundreds of millions in tracked volume; twenty-plus new pools appeared in a day; several of the newest names also printed the sharpest reversals. INFLUENCE and SEALS, in that same report, showed nine-figure volume percentages with near-total drawdowns — a warning label sitting one scroll away from the top-10 winners.

PFNDL’s afternoon buyer skew (1,863 buyers vs 795 sellers) flipped into a morning tape where the one-hour change was −53% on DexScreener. That is not a contradiction; it is the life cycle of a two-hour-old pool aging into its first night. Liquidity rising toward ~$274K while price cooled can mean LPs added, price discovery widened, or both. We are not guessing which.

Contract discipline is the only hygiene that scales here. The address ending in 266d8 is the one tied to our DexScreener pull. Anything else branded Puffernoodle or PFNDL is a different market until proven otherwise. Bridge ETH for gas, check the pool age, and assume the first day’s percent change is a museum piece by breakfast.

What to do as a reader

If you are watching the Puffernoodle PFNDL surge, log the timestamp and the source for every number you repeat. Our two anchors are 14:02 UTC Oct 15 (RobinSwap) and ~05:58 UTC Oct 16 (DexScreener). Check the contract character by character — Robinhood Chain search results already drown in lookalike tickers.

Expect slippage, expect reversal, and do not confuse 24-hour percent change with “still going up.” Our Solana memecoin share note is a useful cross-check on how fast meme attention rotates across chains. Nothing here is investment advice.
