CHOMP MEXC listing: Innovation Zone Opens Oct 15 With 60,000 USDT Airdrop+
The CHOMP MEXC listing opens CHOMP/USDT in the Innovation Zone at 08:00 UTC Oct 15, with withdrawals Oct 16 and a 60,000 USDT Airdrop+ running to Oct 21.
Early story. Some claims here are not officially confirmed yet. We update this post as it confirms.

- Schedule per MEXC: deposits already open, spot trading at 08:00 UTC Oct 15, spot grid bots one hour after that, withdrawals at 08:00 UTC Oct 16.
- MEXC describes Chomp as a community-owned meme built around the Robinhood and Ethereum chains, with a stated total supply of 200,000,000 CHOMP.
- CoinCarp lists an Ethereum contract ending in 509e, but DexScreener showed no pool for it at ~06:05 UTC, and the CHOMP ticker is crowded with unrelated coins. Verify before you touch anything.

The CHOMP MEXC listing goes live today. MEXC opens the CHOMP/USDT pair in its Innovation Zone at 08:00 UTC on October 15, 2026 (11:00 MSK), and withdrawals follow exactly 24 hours later, at 08:00 UTC on October 16. To grease the launch, the exchange is running a 60,000 USDT Airdrop+ campaign for depositors and traders until October 21.
What actually happened
MEXC published a "First in Market" announcement two days before trading, adding Chomp (CHOMP) to the Innovation Zone. That zone is where the exchange parks early, higher-risk assets, and the label is doing honest work here. Deposits are already open, the order book goes live at 08:00 UTC, and spot grid trading unlocks one hour later, around 09:00 UTC.
Withdrawals stay shut until 08:00 UTC on October 16. Translation: for the first 24 hours, whatever CHOMP gets bought on MEXC stays on MEXC. Nobody can arbitrage the exchange price against an on-chain pool in that window, so the first day of price discovery happens in a closed room.
The project pitch, in MEXC's own words, is a "community-owned meme project" with an "iconic CHOMP character," a "The Market Is Food" narrative, and ambitions to grow with "the wider Robinhood ecosystem." That last bit is the real hook. Robinhood Chain memes have been a live, if bruised, narrative this month. Our Robinhood Chain meme losses piece found only 41% of wallets in the nine biggest Robinhood Chain memes in profit, and our Solana memecoin share update had Robinhood Chain's slice of meme DEX volume sliding to about 5%.
The 60,000 USDT Airdrop+ fine print
The Airdrop+ event runs from 08:00 UTC October 14 to 08:00 UTC October 21. Users register on the MEXC event page and complete the designated deposit and trading tasks to share the 60,000 USDT pool. The announcement itself does not break down how the pool is split per task or per user. That lives in the event terms, so read those directly rather than trusting a screenshot.
Deposit-and-trade campaigns reward activity, not conviction. They tend to pull volume forward into the first week, which can make a fresh listing look busier than its organic demand. We saw the same exchange playbook with the BORDR MEXC listing on Meme+ a day earlier: a scheduled open, a withdrawal delay, and a crowd watching the first candles.
The supply and contract problem
Here is where the CHOMP MEXC listing gets messy. MEXC states a total supply of 200,000,000 CHOMP. CoinCarp's event page repeats the same schedule and links the project site (chompcoin.fun), the X account (@Chomponhood) and an Ethereum contract, 0x7a82d83325b0ebe384622554a2a432c94cae509e. But CoinCarp's token distribution table lists 15 billion tokens for a community airdrop, 2 billion for ecosystem and 1 billion each for team, liquidity and marketing. Those rows add up to 20 billion, a hundred times MEXC's figure. We go with the exchange's 200 million.
Then the contract check. DexScreener's token endpoint returned zero trading pairs for that Ethereum address at about 06:05 UTC on October 15. A plain "CHOMP" search returned a Base coin called ChompCoin, a few PulseChain and Solana pump.fun tickers, and a tiny Robinhood Chain pool, none of which we can tie to this listing. CoinGecko also has an older "chompcoin" entry. Same ticker does not mean same asset.
In meme land the ticker is a costume. The contract is the face.
None of this means the listing is fake. MEXC's announcement links its own contract address button, and the exchange controls which token it credits on deposit. It does mean the public paper trail is thin, and we are not quoting a price for an asset we cannot pin to a pool.
What to do as a reader
If you are tracking the CHOMP MEXC listing, start with the contract MEXC links from its announcement and compare it with CoinCarp's address and a block explorer. If they do not match, stop there. Copycat CHOMP tokens on Solana and Base are already sitting in search results, waiting for someone in a hurry.
Expect the first hour to be chaotic. Innovation Zone opens often print wild wicks before grid bots arrive, and the 24-hour withdrawal lock means the MEXC price can drift away from whatever on-chain market exists. Treat the 60,000 USDT pool as a marketing budget, not a signal, and read the event terms before you chase it. One more practical note: our Korea crypto block report covered MEXC among the 27 unregistered operators South Korea's FIU said it would block, so access depends on where you live. Nothing here is investment advice.
