predict tge delay: Binance Alpha Pushes PREDICT Launch
The predict tge delay came hours before launch: Binance Wallet postponed PREDICT Alpha trading and predict.fun pushed back its TGE and Season 1 claim.
Early story. Some claims here are not officially confirmed yet. We update this post as it confirms.

- Binance Wallet: PREDICT Alpha trading postponed; the new start time will come in an official notice (TechFlow, Lookonchain).
- predict.fun: TGE and Season 1 claim delayed to line up with Binance Alpha and spot trading; the team apologized (Odaily).
- Polymarket at 06:02 UTC: launch by Oct 31 about 23.7% Yes, by Nov 15 about 87%, by Nov 30 about 97%.

The predict tge delay hit just hours before launch. Binance Wallet said PREDICT trading on Binance Alpha, set for 09:00 UTC on October 30, has been postponed, and predict.fun followed by pushing back its token generation event and Season 1 airdrop claim. No new date yet. Polymarket now gives a token launch by October 31 only about a 24% chance.
What actually happened
The plan looked locked. On October 29, ChainCatcher relayed Binance Wallet's schedule: a Pre-TGE Prime Sale from 08:00 to 10:00 UTC that day for users with at least 60 Binance Alpha points (15 points deducted to join, 6 BNB cap per user), PREDICT Keys on BNB Chain afterward, and the token airdropped to Alpha accounts with trading at 09:00 UTC on October 30.
Then the notices flipped. TechFlow reported early on October 30 that Binance Wallet had postponed PREDICT Alpha trading, with the adjusted time to be announced separately. Odaily reported that predict.fun posted on X that its TGE and Season 1 airdrop claim would be delayed to match the Binance Alpha and spot trading delay, and that new dates would follow once confirmed.
Neither team gave a reason in the posts we saw. The timing is hard to ignore, though: Reuters reported, via Nikkei Asia, that Binance temporarily suspended trading on Binance Alpha as a precaution while it dealt with its security incident. We are not claiming that is the cause, only that it is the context.
For context, predict.fun runs a prediction market platform, and PREDICT is its planned token. Binance Wallet's Prime Sale sold access in BNB, so many participants are now holding keys that cannot yet turn into tradable tokens. That is capital parked with no clock.
The claim form most holders already filled
TokenPost explained the airdrop choice Binance Wallet offered Predict Points holders on October 28. Option one: take 35% of your allocation right away and forfeit the other 65%. Option two: stake for one year and receive 100%. The launch-day form deadline was 09:00 UTC on October 29. Later batches were scheduled for November 6, 13, 20, and 27, with forms due the day before each.
The predict tge delay does not change that math. It only changes when it starts. If you chose the 35% path, your tokens arrive when the TGE does, whenever that is.
A delayed TGE is not a cancelled TGE, but it is a free option for every scammer with a fake claim link.
What Polymarket thinks
The cleanest board is "Will Predict.fun launch a token by ___?". At 06:02 UTC (09:02 MSK) on October 30, October 31 sat near 23.7% Yes with a last trade at about 35¢, November 15 near 87%, and November 30 near 97%. The rules require a governance token that is actively and publicly transferable and tradable. Announcements alone do not count.
So traders think the token is coming, just probably not this week. We covered the earlier valuation side in predict.fun token odds. The predict tge delay mostly reshuffles the near-dated contracts. A separate market, "Predict.fun FDV above ___ one day after launch?", had drawn about $8.7 million in volume when we checked it the same morning, with "above $500M" near 94% Yes and "above $2.5B" near 6%. Those contracts key off the launch itself, so a slip in timing can leave them open longer.
What to do as a reader
Only trust official channels. Use Binance Wallet's own announcements and predict.fun's verified X account for the new date. Ignore DMs, "early claim" sites, and screenshot timelines. After any delay, phishing links multiply fast, much like we warned around the aster stage 6 claim.
Check your Predict Points balance in the app paths Binance Wallet published, and confirm which claim option you picked. If you missed the launch-day form, the weekly batches still apply as published.
Don't overpay for "pre-market" PREDICT on unofficial venues. Without a live token, those prices are guesses with counterparty risk.
Nothing here is investment advice. Airdrops and new listings are volatile, and dates can move again.
