October 2 Bitcoin odds put Up at 72% on the row

October 2 Bitcoin odds are a one-day up or down, and the two screens do not share one Up percent. Polymarket's loaded row says 72%. CoinRithm says 74%, and it prints a Limitless Yes at 75%.

October 2 Bitcoin odds are a daily direction contract, and the two screens opened on the morning of Oct. 2, 2026 do not print the same Up percent. Polymarket's loaded row said 72 percent for Up, with a Yes ask of 72 cents. CoinRithm, opened just after, printed Up at 74 percent. The same CoinRithm page also printed a Limitless Yes at 75 percent. Three figures, one question. This is not a trade.

TL;DR - The question is "Bitcoin Up or Down on October 2?" The loaded Up row says 72 percent. The Yes ask on that row is 72 cents. A bid was not shown on the Polymarket rows. Down's large percent was not shown as its own label. Down's Yes ask was 29 cents. - CoinRithm shows Up at 74 percent, up 23.5 points over 24 hours, and Down at 27 percent, down 23.5 points. It lists 24-hour volume of $67.7K, liquidity of $34.1K, a bid/ask of 73.0 percent / 74.0 percent, and a separate market-depth pair of 71 percent / 72 percent. It scores the market 74 out of 100. - The contract compares two Binance BTC/USDT 1-minute closes, both at noon ET: Oct. 1, 2026 against Oct. 2, 2026. The Oct. 2 check is 7:00 p.m. in Moscow. A higher Oct. 2 close is Up. A lower close is Down. Equal closes resolve 50-50.

What actually happened

This is one daily up-or-down, not a price target. The Polymarket view that loaded printed a total volume of $68.9K and did not print a 24-hour volume. CoinRithm printed a 24-hour volume of $67.7K and liquidity of $34.1K. Those are close dollars on different labels. One is the venue total on the screen. The other is the tracker's 24-hour figure. This note does not subtract them and call the gap a fee.

The loaded Up row was 72 percent, with a Yes ask of 72 cents. No bid was printed on that row. Down did not show a separate large percent in the view used here. Down's Yes ask was 29 cents. A 72 cent Up ask and a 29 cent Down ask add to 101 cents, not 100. The extra cent is the gap between the two asks. It is not a second contract, and it is not a Down percent, because that large Down label was not on the screen.

CoinRithm's adjusted board is a different pair of cells. Up is 74 percent, up 23.5 points over 24 hours. Down is 27 percent, down 23.5 points. Seventy-four plus 27 is 101, the same one-point overflow, on the tracker's scale rather than on the asks. The tracker also prints a bid/ask of 73.0 percent / 74.0 percent and calls the spread 1.0 point. A market-depth block on the same page shows 71 percent / 72 percent. Those are two CoinRithm pairs. The 72 in the depth block matches the venue's large Up label and the venue's 72 cent ask. The 74 in the bid/ask matches CoinRithm's adjusted Up. None of those cells is the 29 cent Down ask.

The same CoinRithm page says the question is also on Limitless, under the name "BTC Up or Down Daily," with Yes at 75 percent, and it prints the words "100% match · verified." This article did not open Limitless. The 75 percent and the match line are figures on CoinRithm, not a second venue read here. The 75 sits one point above CoinRithm's 74 and three points above the Polymarket row. It is not blended into either.

CoinRithm calls liquidity of $34.1K high liquidity, and it calls quality 74 out of 100 medium quality. A 23.5-point move sits next to a venue total of $68.9K. A large swing and a small pool can both be true. The quality score's 74 and the adjusted Up's 74 are different 74s on the tracker. The venue row is 72. Read the unit before you quote a number.

What Polymarket thinks

On the row, the October 2 Bitcoin odds say Up is the heavy side. The label and the ask agree, both at 72. That agreement is narrower than it looks, because CoinRithm's adjusted Up is 74 and its depth block is 71 / 72. The venue did not show a bid, so this note does not pretend the book is a one-cent market. CoinRithm's own bid/ask of 73 / 74 is a one-point spread on the tracker. The depth pair is a different one-point spread, one point lower. Quote the block you actually saw.

The contract is a comparison of two closes, not a level. Bitcoin can finish "up" on this market and still be far from any round number people argue about. It can finish "down" by a dollar and still pay Down in full. There is no partial credit for almost. The rules both pages carried are the same sentence: Up if the Binance BTC/USDT 1-minute close at noon ET on Oct. 2 is higher than the noon ET close on Oct. 1, Down if it is lower, and an exact tie resolves 50-50. The pair is BTC/USDT on Binance. Another exchange does not settle it.

No experimental summary was on the Polymarket page in this load. This article does not borrow a percent from a blurb. A blurb would not settle the two candles.

What the two screens do not show

Neither opened page shows the Oct. 1 noon candle or the Oct. 2 noon candle. A 72 percent quote does not tell you yesterday's close. Neither page shows who sold the 23.5-point move CoinRithm prints. The venue view did not show bids, so this note does not name a buyer at 72 cents.

The contract also does not say the next day continues the same way. A daily up/down that CoinRithm marks up 23.5 points is a description of this window. A reader who wants a threshold market instead of a direction market can read the Bitcoin above 84000 note. A reader who wants a rate market, which is a different question entirely, can read the October Fed odds note. Neither of those contracts uses this noon-to-noon comparison.

What to do as a reader (not a trade)

This is not investment advice and not a suggestion to buy Up or Down. If you repeat the October 2 Bitcoin odds, say the loaded Polymarket row is 72 percent for Up and the ask is 72 cents. Say Down's ask was 29 cents and that a separate Down percent was not on that view. Say CoinRithm prints Up at 74 percent and Down at 27 percent, with a bid/ask of 73 / 74 and a depth pair of 71 / 72. Say the same page shows a Limitless Yes at 75 percent, which was not opened here. Add the volume you actually have: $68.9K on the venue total, and $67.7K as CoinRithm's 24-hour figure.

If you care how it actually resolves, open the two Binance noon ET candles, Oct. 1 and Oct. 2. The second one is 7:00 p.m. Moscow on October 2. Equal closes are a 50-50, which both pages state.

The pages are Polymarket's event and CoinRithm's tracker. The row is 72. The tracker is 74. The Limitless line on the tracker is 75. Keep them apart.
