MINT MNTD airdrop: Snapshot Today, but You Have to Gamble
MINT MNTD airdrop snapshot is Monday, October 19, with TGE on Robinhood Chain October 20. Qualifying means wagering $50 on a crypto casino for a slice of a $125K pool.
Early story. Some claims here are not officially confirmed yet. We update this post as it confirms.

- @PlayOnMint (Oct 16): "Airdrop snapshot on Monday 19th of Oct! Wager $50 to qualify." Total supply is 1 billion MNTD, per an Oct 13 post.
- airdrops.io (updated Oct 16): a $125,000 Season 1 pool, listed as 3,787,879 MNTD at a $0.033 reference price, fully claimable at TGE, with no public sale.
- XP reportedly expires at the snapshot, and prediction-market activity on the platform earns no XP.

The MINT MNTD airdrop snapshot is today. MINT, a crypto casino and sportsbook that posts as "PlayOnMint" on X, says its Season 1 snapshot lands on Monday, October 19, and that the $MNTD token goes live on Robinhood Chain on October 20. Before you rush in, read what "qualifying" actually means here: you have to gamble.
What actually happened
MINT spent last week teasing its token on X. On October 13 it posted the 1 billion supply. On October 16 at 16:11 UTC it announced the snapshot date and the $50 wagering threshold. On October 17 it called this "the last weekend before $MNTD goes live." The project also says staking will offer combined reward rates of up to 45%, tied to a seven-level "MINT Status" system with multipliers from 1.1x to 1.7x.
That headline rate is a project claim, not a guarantee, and it says nothing about what MNTD will be worth. A high advertised rate on a fresh token is usually paid in that same token, which is the classic way emissions eat a price.
How the MINT MNTD airdrop is structured
According to the airdrops.io listing, Season 1 rewards are worth $125,000 at the $0.033 reference price, which works out to about 3.79 million MNTD, or roughly 0.38% of total supply. Every eligible wallet can claim its full allocation at the token generation event, with no vesting on the airdrop itself.
The same listing gives a full allocation table: staking 15.70%, community 15%, growth 15%, treasury 15%, team 8% with a six-month lock and 12-month vest, partnerships 8%, liquidity 8%, airdrops 5%, a growth reserve 5% and private investors 5.30%. A separate free "MintABear" NFT whitelist runs until October 27 at 12:00 UTC.
A $125K pool split across every wallet that wagered $50 is not a life-changing drop. Do the math before you do the bets.
There is also a referral program that pays out 10% of the house edge on referred players. That is a real business model for the platform, and it is also why your timeline is full of referral links this week.
The casino problem
Points-for-wagering campaigns follow the same playbook as exchange trading competitions: pay users in future tokens to generate volume now. The difference is that wagering on a casino has a built-in house edge, so the expected value of qualifying is negative before the token even exists.
We saw a version of this in our breakdown of 1win's token sale odds, where a gambling brand moved into a crypto launch. The Robinhood Chain angle matters too: our look at Robinhood Chain meme losses shows the chain's young token market has been rough on early buyers. A new token listing there on October 20 lands in that environment, with liquidity that has not been tested yet.
Gambling rules also vary hard by country. Many jurisdictions restrict or ban online casinos, and crypto casinos often geo-block certain regions in their terms. If you are in one of those places, "qualifying" for an airdrop may mean breaking local law or the platform's own terms, which can void the allocation anyway.
What we still do not know
MINT has not published, in anything we could verify, how many wallets qualified, how the pool is split between them, or what launch liquidity will look like. The $0.033 figure is a reference price for valuing the pool, not a promise of where MNTD trades.
What to do as a reader
If you already use MINT for entertainment, check your dashboard before the snapshot and confirm your XP and status level, because the airdrops.io listing says XP expires at the snapshot. Read claim instructions only from @PlayOnMint and the official site linked there. Expect fake claim pages on October 20; that is when phishers are most active.
If you do not gamble, the MINT MNTD airdrop is not a reason to start. Wagering $50 to chase a slice of a $125K pool is a bet with a house edge, not a free drop. On launch day, watch the actual pool depth on Robinhood Chain and how much of the 1 billion supply is circulating before you take any position. Nothing here is investment advice, and if gambling is a problem for you, step away from this one.
