GTA 6 delay odds have collapsed to almost nothing with four weeks to go. At about 06:19 UTC on October 21, Polymarket's "GTA 6 launch postponed again?" market traded at roughly 2.8% Yes, on about $875K of lifetime volume. Rockstar, meanwhile, is acting like a studio that is shipping: Miami is covered in Vice City ads, and real-life versions of in-game beer brands just cleared a U.S. regulator.

What actually happened

GTA VI has already slipped twice. It was first slated for fall 2025, then moved to May 26, 2026, and on November 6, 2025 Take-Two pushed it again to November 19, 2026. That history is why a "postponed again?" market exists at all.

The newest signals point the other way. IGN reported on October 20 that the U.S. Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau approved labels for three GTA-themed beers, Pißwasser, Patriot and a new No Mames Vice City lager, made by Florida's Tripping Animals Brewing. IGN also notes Rockstar has blanketed Miami with in-universe ads, flown a Vice City blimp over Florida and dressed up the Miami Heat's arena ahead of a Vice City-themed NBA game in November. Ad pushes have also hit Paris, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, per IGN.

None of that guarantees a date. But companies rarely buy a city-wide campaign four weeks out and then delay.

What Polymarket thinks

The market resolves Yes if, by November 19, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET, Rockstar or Take-Two officially announces GTA VI will not release by that date, or if the game is otherwise not publicly available to buy or download in the U.S. by then. Early access, betas and leaks do not count as a release. A release on only one console family does count.

At about 06:19 UTC on October 21, the GTA 6 delay odds stood at 0.028 Yes, with the book at 0.022 bid and 0.034 ask, down from 0.0335 about ten minutes earlier. Lifetime volume was about $875K. The crowd is effectively saying the game ships on time, with a small tail for a last-minute surprise.

What could still go wrong

A delay this close to launch would be extraordinary but not impossible. A certification problem on one platform, a major technical issue found during preload, or a regional distribution hiccup could all matter. Note the rule detail: if only Xbox or only PlayStation launches on time in the U.S., that still counts as released, so a single-platform slip would not flip the market.

The other risk is noise. Crypto traders keep launching GTA 6 trailer tokens and fake "leak" accounts, and every rumor post claiming a delay will get engagement. Unless it comes from Rockstar, Take-Two or a consensus of credible outlets, it does not move the resolution.

Why the price is not zero

At 2.8%, a Yes share costs about three cents and pays a dollar if Rockstar slips. Some traders hold that as cheap insurance against a shock. Others are simply waiting for resolution and parking capital in the No side, which earns a few percent over four weeks if the game ships. Both behaviors keep the GTA 6 delay odds above zero right until launch day.

What to do as a reader

If you are a player, mark November 12 for preload and November 19 for launch. Treat anyone selling "early access" codes as a scammer unless Rockstar itself announces such a thing. The market rules exclude early access anyway. Buy only from the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Games Store or a known retailer.

If you trade the market, read the resolution text and check official Rockstar channels, not screenshots. A 3% price is not a free lunch on the No side: you tie up money for weeks to earn a small return, and a surprise would wipe it out. Nothing here is investment advice.
