DoubleZero unlock hits the October 2 calendar

The DoubleZero unlock dated October 2 is a one-year cliff for 2Z, and the two trackers opened here do not print the same dollar size.

The DoubleZero unlock scheduled for October 2, 2026, at 00:00 UTC (3:00 a.m. MSK) is the supply event two independent explainers both circle, and they do not hand you one clean dollar figure. CryptoTicker, updated September 28, counts 1,655,000,000 2Z. Tokenomist's weekly digest, published September 28, says roughly 1.66 billion 2Z. Those token counts are close. The dollar marks are not, and this draft does not average them.

TL;DR - Both pages describe this DoubleZero unlock as an October 2 cliff of about 1.65 to 1.66 billion 2Z, near 16.6% of a 10 billion maximum and about 47.7% of one circulating-supply definition. - CryptoTicker prices that pile at about $88.2 million using a September 2 print. Tokenomist marks it at $113.23 million as of September 27. - CryptoTicker says DoubleZero publishes no unlock calendar of its own, so the buckets come from third-party trackers.

What actually happened

CryptoTicker's Dennis Weidner piece says the cliff is 16.55% of a 10 billion maximum supply. Measured against a CoinGecko circulating supply of 3,469,521,878 2Z on September 2, 2026, the increase is about 47.7%. After that arithmetic, circulating supply on paper would be 5,124,521,878, or 51.2% of the maximum, versus 34.7% before. At the September 2 price of $0.053265, CryptoTicker puts the cliff near $88.2 million, against about $3.05 million of 24-hour volume that day, and a fully diluted valuation near $532.5 million. It also says a direct Solana read on September 2 at 00:38 UTC showed total supply of 9,998,104,378.34 2Z, a hair under the 10 billion figure after burns.

The same article, citing a DefiLlama emissions tracker, splits the 1.655 billion into seven buckets: Jump Crypto 575,000,000 (34.7%), Malbec Labs 350,000,000 (21.1%), institutions 300,000,000 (18.1%), team 250,000,000 (15.1%), contributors 100,000,000 (6.0%), builders 50,000,000 (3.0%), and a validators sale 30,000,000 (1.8%). It says the four buckets it classes as insiders, Jump, Malbec, team, and builders, are 1.225 billion tokens, or 74% of the cliff. It says Malbec, team, institutions, contributors, and builders had nothing unlocked before this date, while the foundation bucket was already fully unlocked and Jump was 17.9% unlocked. Weekly linear vesting after the cliff, on that tracker, sums to 31,138,000 2Z, about 0.90% of the September 2 circulating supply. CryptoTicker says the foundation's second-quarter 2026 update reported about $330,000 of revenue and a 10% burn of 435,000 2Z, with roughly 1.8 million 2Z burned since launch.

Tokenomist's digest frames this DoubleZero unlock as the week's main cliff. The detailed line is an unlock amount of $113.23 million and 47.69% of unlocked supply. The headline rounds the dollars to $114 million, and a takeaway line says $113 million and 47.7%. The body says circulating and unlocked supply are the same 3.47 billion, so the percentage is similar on either label, and that the largest shares go to Jump Crypto and Malbec Labs, whom DoubleZero describes as core engineering contributors. Weekly vesting in that digest is "about 31.1 million" 2Z, roughly 0.9% of pre-cliff circulating supply, running on for the same recipient groups except validators, through 2029. About 8% of the cliff, Tokenomist says, goes to validators and contributors who run the network.

What the two calendars disagree on

Put the conflicts in one place. Token count: 1,655,000,000 versus roughly 1.66 billion. Percent of float: about 47.7% versus 47.69%. Dollars: about $88.2 million on a September 2 price versus $113.23 million marked for September 27. Weekly rate: 31,138,000 versus about 31.1 million. None of those pairs is merged into a midpoint. A search snippet from a third calendar showed yet another token count, and that page was not opened, so it is not used.

CryptoTicker's full piece is DoubleZero's October 2 unlock. It says the project's own tokeneconomics page names a starting supply and a set of principles, including that 2Z is not a governance token and not a claim on dividends, but does not publish dates or tranches. The calendar in circulation is therefore a tracker calendar. Tokenomist is one of the trackers CryptoTicker names. They are independent write-ups of third-party schedules, not two copies of a DoubleZero press release. That is also why this file's confirmation score stays at the two-newsroom level rather than an official-source six.

The network those pages describe is a DePIN-style fiber system. CryptoTicker, relaying the foundation's quarterly note, says the quarter ended with 14 independent contributors, more than 170 contributions, 97 devices in 63 data centers, 30 metro areas, 18 countries, and about 10 terabits per second provisioned, plus 115 subscriber slots on a Solana block-data feed at about $8,500 per epoch. Those operating stats are not the unlock math. They explain why the token exists in the project's telling. Other mainnet launches covered separately, such as Moca Chain and zkAPI, are different networks with different supply stories.

What to do as a reader

If you follow the DoubleZero unlock, treat the DoubleZero unlock as a calendar item and check a block explorer and a tracker on the day rather than treating either September article as a live balance. Confirm whether the wallet or the venue you use has credited anything, and remember CryptoTicker's distinction: unlocked means the recipient may move the tokens, not that they have sold them. If you compare "percent of supply" headlines, ask which circulating definition is in the denominator. CryptoTicker says DefiLlama still treats 2.9 billion foundation tokens as non-circulating, while CoinGecko counts them, and that the narrow definition would turn the same cliff into an increase of around 290%. That 290% figure and the 47.7% figure answer different questions.

Do not use either dollar mark as a price target or as a reason to buy or sell 2Z. They are old marks on different days. The reader task is to know the date, the rough token count, and the fact that the project page opened by CryptoTicker did not itself list the tranches.
