The STREAM Solana surge put streamoors (STREAM) near $0.02437 on DexTrading’s token page as of 05:16 UTC on October 16, up 535% over 24 hours, with a $24.25M market cap, about $480K of liquidity and $7.77M of daily volume across roughly 93.4K trades. A DexScreener pull minutes later (~05:59 UTC) showed about $0.02459, a ~$24.5M cap and ~$7.74M of 24-hour volume (+478%).
What actually happened
STREAM trades primarily as STREAM/SOL on PumpSwap in the data we pulled. DexTrading’s automated safety card reported no red flags on mint/freeze and showed a market mood label of “bullish” based on trade counts and trend — which is a dashboard slogan, not a research rating. Importantly, DexTrading also said no tracked wallet had swapped STREAM in the prior 48 hours. That is the opposite of the Nihilism/CONDOM pattern where tracked wallets were hyperactive sellers.
Size is the other difference. A ~$24M cap with ~$480K liquidity is still a meme market, but it is not a $47K toy. Slippage on moderate clips is less absurd than on microcaps, though $7.8M of volume can still rearrange a $480K pool’s marks quickly.
Why this STREAM tape needs a contract ritual
The STREAM ticker is crowded. DexScreener and secondary scrapers also surface other “streamoors” / STREAM contracts, including a Diy4Q…pump streamoors.fun variant that is not the pool we are quoting. If your wallet UI autocompletes “STREAM,” you may be one paste away from the wrong asset. Our numbers attach only to 9a98oQ…pump.
Same name, different mint: the oldest meme-market footgun.
Pool age dating to October 14 means the move is a two-day-old celebrity by the morning of the 16th, not a months-old blue-chip meme. Compare attention texture with MissRose Solana surge (much smaller caps) and with exchange-listed Solana names like DOPE memecoin surge when you are mapping where liquidity actually sits.
DexTrading’s 24-hour trade split — about 65K buys vs 28K sells — says aggressive taker flow was still bid-heavy into the snapshot. Without tracked-wallet confirmation, that can mean retail momentum as easily as “informed” accumulation. We are not decorating it.
Liquidity versus narrative
A $24M memecoin with half a million dollars of pool liquidity can absorb more size than a $50K joke coin, but it can also attract larger exits. Watch whether liquidity rises with price or gets withdrawn on green candles. Our DexScreener and DexTrading liquidity prints agree near $480K at the morning window; if that number halves while price holds, the book is telling on itself.
Social narratives around “AI streamer” memes rotate weekly. We are not endorsing any lore beyond what the chart venues show. For broader Solana share-of-voice context, see Solana memecoin share.
Another practical check: DexTrading’s “no tracked wallet swaps in 48 hours” line can flip quickly. Re-pull the smart-money card before you cite it in a later conversation. The STREAM numbers in this article are frozen to 05:16–05:59 UTC on October 16.
Volume near $7.8M with ~93K trades also implies a lot of small tickets. That can be organic retail — or bot loops. We cannot tell from the aggregates alone. What we can say is that buy-count dominance and a mid-eight-figure cap put STREAM in a different risk bucket than the sub-$50K joke coins that dominated yesterday’s DexTrading academy list.
Finally, treat paid boost badges and copycat sites as hostile until proven otherwise. STREAM’s legitimate attention is large enough to attract imitators. Our pump.fun Boost note is a reminder that promotion mechanics and price mechanics are different layers. Verify, then size small, then re-verify the contract after every bridge.
Keep both the 05:16 UTC DexTrading card and the ~05:59 UTC DexScreener card in your notes so you do not blur them later.
What to do as a reader
If you follow the STREAM Solana surge, paste the full contract every time, compare DexTrading and DexScreener timestamps, and ignore ticker-only invites. Note the absence of tracked-wallet prints as a data point, not a green light.
Expect high volatility on a two-day-old pool even at this cap. Nothing here is investment advice.
