MissRose Solana surge: ROSE Ran 531%, Then Cooled to a ~$318K Cap
tl;dr
  • At DexTrading's snapshot, the whole market cap changed hands more than once in a day: 24-hour volume was about 1.2 times the cap, on just $68.8K of liquidity.
  • The wallets DexTrading tracks for strong records were selling, not buying: 277 buys worth $28.6K against 1,410 sells worth $193.2K over 48 hours.
  • The contract is 7b6dX3nE25xrfNViEKZHL9wVJFcBxQYuWPpmzHUxx28H. The ROSE ticker is also used by Oasis Network's token, so match the address, not the symbol.

The MissRose Solana surge was a classic microcap moonshot with a hangover attached. DexTrading's automated report had MissRose (ROSE) at $0.0004773 at 13:25 UTC on October 14, up 531% in 24 hours, with a $467.3K market cap and $571.6K of volume. By about 06:05 UTC on October 15, DexScreener's main PumpSwap pool showed ROSE near $0.000325 and a cap around $318K.

What actually happened

MissRose is a Solana token that trades mainly on PumpSwap in a ROSE/SOL pool, the largest of its pools. Its first pool opened at 11:42 UTC on October 11, so the token was about three days old when it went vertical. The project lists missrose.org as its site and @MissRose_bot on X.

DexTrading's report, generated from its own on-chain data, shows the move in stages: +4.74% in five minutes, +41.2% in an hour, +164% over six hours and +531% over 24 hours at the 13:25 UTC print. Over the prior 48 hours ROSE traded between $0.00003916 and $0.0006047. The busiest hour was 15:00 UTC on October 13, with $415.2K of volume in that single hour.

On the main pool, the crowd was close to balanced: 2,982 buys versus 3,421 sells over 24 hours. The tracked "smart money" wallets were not. Sells outnumbered buys about 5.1 to 1, which DexTrading reads as profit-taking into retail demand.

The morning-after numbers

DexScreener's main PumpSwap pool, checked at about 06:05 UTC on October 15, had ROSE at $0.0003249, roughly 32% below DexTrading's afternoon print. The fully diluted value was near $318K, liquidity was about $55.5K and 24-hour volume was around $350K. The pool still showed a gain of about 80.7% over 24 hours, because the comparison window now starts before the peak.

That is the shape of the MissRose Solana surge in one line: a huge spike, a heavy-volume top, and a fast retrace that still looks green on a daily chart. Our memecoin lifecycle study found the median coin peaks within about 17 days of first trading. ROSE went from its first pool to its biggest print in about three days, so the clock on this one runs fast.

Liquidity is the exit door. At $55K, it is a narrow one.

What the safety settings say

DexTrading lists the on-chain basics as clean at its snapshot. Mint authority is revoked, so the supply of 979,051,415 ROSE is fixed. Freeze authority is revoked, the name and logo are locked, and the Token-2022 program shows no transfer fee, transfer hook or permanent delegate. Those checks rule out a few classic rug mechanics. They do not rule out a dump.

Concentration is the bigger issue. DexTrading counted 1,010 holders, with the top 10 wallets holding 34.6% of supply, a figure that can include the pool itself. It also estimated that a $1,000 buy in the main pool paid roughly 2.92% above the quoted price. With liquidity now lower than at that snapshot, size gets more expensive, not less.

What to do as a reader

If the MissRose Solana surge is on your watchlist, start with the contract above and the main pool, 9CDKMMGWEnr6ZyU725fr4jdyyFojPW8gz1KKNrYLekCg, on a Solana explorer. Copycat ROSE tokens and the unrelated Oasis ROSE make ticker searches a trap. Then look at holder concentration and recent large sells, not the 531% headline.

Treat tracked-wallet data as a signal about who is leaving, not a guarantee. When experienced wallets sell five times more than they buy, the crowd is usually the exit liquidity. Compare this run with other fast Solana narratives we covered, like the CLAUDIA AI memecoin spike, and with the bigger backdrop in our Solana memecoin share update.

Keep the timestamps straight too. DexTrading's numbers are from 13:25 UTC on October 14, and ours from DexScreener are from about 06:05 UTC on October 15 (09:05 MSK). Mixing them into one average price would hide the retrace that matters most. Never size a microcap trade on a single automated report, and expect prices to move between our snapshots and whenever you read this. Small tokens can lose most of their value within hours. Nothing here is investment advice.
