The Loom LOOM Solana pump is a microcap turnover story first: DexTrading’s 13:25 UTC card on October 16 printed LOOM at $0.00005395 (+22.8% over 24 hours) with a $51.1K market cap, $1.98M of 24-hour volume — about 39× the cap — $20.4K of liquidity, and 2,158 holders after a first pool opened at 06:54 UTC on October 16. The same card showed the last hour down about 34.7%. Contract 7GCMYJcykHZ3qJH3e5vQi4J9qAPdb3Xninkgk6sYpump; mint and freeze revoked per DexTrading; project surfaces named as theloom.wiki and @loomwiki.
What actually happened
LOOM launched on pump.fun into Solana’s culture/viral meme bucket and immediately printed the classic microcap signature: volume many times market cap on a pool measured in hours. A $51.1K cap turning over $1.98M in a day is not “discovery investing.” It is a slot-machine wick with a wiki costume. DexTrading’s own last-hour print (−34.7%) at the same timestamp as the +22.8% daily figure is the reminder that both can be true on a thin book.
Liquidity at $20.4K is a cushion only relative to a $51K cap. It is not a market-maker backstop. DexTrading’s tracked-wallet commentary on this tape leaned sell-side into the churn — the same camera angle we keep citing on fresh Pump.fun celebrities. Holder count at 2,158 on a hours-old pool usually means a long tail of dust bags.
If you read our Nihilism Solana surge or MissRose Solana surge notes, this LOOM tape should feel familiar: high turnover versus cap, revoked mint/freeze, and a narrative page that can outlive the candle that made the screenshot.
Tiny liquidity, huge slippage
$20K of liquidity is a warning label dressed as a number.
A few hundred dollars can move this pool. Anyone quoting the $0.00005395 card without the 13:25 UTC stamp is already trading yesterday’s photograph. The Oct 17 narratives scrape still listing LOOM inside Culture & viral with PsyopAnime (~$3.08M combined volume) means attention had not fully left the bucket overnight — it does not mean the $51.1K cap became “safer.”
Website claims need CA matching. theloom.wiki and @loomwiki appear on the DexTrading card; any mirror landing page is unverified until it points at 7GCMYJ…pump. Same ticker on another mint is a different asset. Our pump.fun Boost context still applies: attention arrives first, inventory distribution second, screenshot economy third.
Age amplifies risk. A pool that opened 06:54 UTC on the 16th had roughly six and a half hours of history when the DexTrading card printed at 13:25 UTC. No long holder base, no audited treasury, no excuse for treating 39× turnover as organic investment demand. Mint and freeze being revoked removes two rug levers; it does not invent bids.
Spot BTC near $81,463 and ETH near $2,426 on the CoinGecko morning Oct 17 seed describe the broad risk tape. They do not price a $51K Solana meme. Do not import BTC beta into a $20K liquidity pool.
Tracked wallets “mostly selling,” as the research notes flag, is not a priesthood signal — it is a second camera. When those wallets distribute while crowd trade counts still look busy, the tape is telling you who is exiting into whom. Size as if a 50% drawdown is a feature.
One more hygiene item: combined-bucket volume (~$3.08M with PsyopAnime) is not LOOM’s solo volume. Influencers sometimes quote the bucket total as if it were the single-token print. Keep $1.98M glued to LOOM’s own 24h card and keep the bucket figure labeled as combined.
Culture-bucket placement next to PsyopAnime on the Oct 17 narratives scrape is a reminder that Solana’s meme year still sorts coins by story family as much as by chart. “Culture & viral” is a curator label, not a fundamental rating. Tokens can rotate out of the bucket as fast as they rotated in once the next costume arrives.
If your group chat is still quoting only the +22.8% daily figure, add the −34.7% last-hour print from the same DexTrading card. Showing both numbers is the minimum honesty standard for a pool this thin. A microcap that can lose a third of its local price in an hour is not waiting for your carefully worded thesis.
Also keep the first-pool clock visible: 06:54 UTC on October 16. Hour-old history does not become week-old wisdom because a wiki exists. Wikis are cheap. Liquidity is not.
What to do as a reader
If you are tracking The Loom LOOM Solana pump for the game, write down the 13:25 UTC Oct 16 timestamp, the full CA 7GCMYJcykHZ3qJH3e5vQi4J9qAPdb3Xninkgk6sYpump, and the $51.1K / $1.98M / $20.4K trio before you quote a percentage. Check mint/freeze on a Solana explorer yourself.
Treat theloom.wiki as unverified until the contract matches, and assume slippage will punish size. Nothing here is investment advice.
