KuCoin PYBOBO futures: Capybobo USDT Perp Live With Up to 8x
KuCoin PYBOBO futures (PYBOBOUSDT) went live Oct 16 09:00 UTC with 1–8x leverage, USDT settlement, and funding every 4 hours capped at ±2%.
Early story. Some claims here are not officially confirmed yet. We update this post as it confirms.

- KuCoin (Oct 16): PYBOBOUSDT perpetual live from 09:00 UTC; 1–8x leverage; USDT settlement; funding every 4 hours; capped funding ±2.00%; 1 contract = 1,000 PYBOBO; tick 0.0000001.
- ArbiLayer listing tracker: PYBOBO (Capybobo) shown for spot on MEXC, Gate, Bybit, and KuCoin, with KuCoin futures noted Oct 16.
- Product is a perpetual futures contract, not a spot-only debut — read the contract specs before treating “listed” as a single word.

KuCoin PYBOBO futures went live on October 16 at 09:00 UTC as a USDT-margined perpetual with leverage from 1x to 8x, according to KuCoin’s official futures listing announcement. The listing adds a derivatives lane on top of spot venues that already showed Capybobo (PYBOBO) elsewhere.
What actually happened
KuCoin published a futures new-listing notice for the PYBOBOUSDT perpetual contract dated for trading from 2026-10-16 09:00 UTC. The official parameters in that announcement are straightforward: USDT-margined, leverage band 1x–8x, funding every four hours with a ±2.00% funding-rate cap, contract size of 1,000 PYBOBO per contract, and a tick size of 0.0000001.
That is the KuCoin PYBOBO futures product as written — a leveraged derivatives market on top of the PYBOBO token, not a claim about the token’s fundamentals. ArbiLayer’s tracker listed Capybobo spot already available on MEXC, Gate, Bybit, and KuCoin, which frames the Oct 16 move as futures expansion rather than a first-ever venue appearance.
Exchange futures listings often travel with the same social shorthand as spot listings. They are not the same risk object. Perpetuals introduce funding, liquidation engines, and leverage that spot books do not carry. Our NeoSoul DNA listing and YVE MEXC listing notes this month stay in the listing-calendar lane for the same reason: announce what the venue said, not what Telegram invented.
Contract specs that actually matter
For anyone reading the KuCoin notice as a trader checklist, three lines dominate: the 8x max leverage, the four-hour funding cadence, and the ±2% funding cap. Those numbers come from KuCoin’s announcement; they are product parameters, not predictions of where PYBOBO goes.
Contract multiplier (1,000 PYBOBO per contract) and tick size (0.0000001) matter for position sizing and for how “noisy” the book looks on a chart. Misreading multiplier is a classic way to oversize a “small” futures clip. Settlement in USDT means P&L and margin are quoted in stablecoin units on that venue’s rules.
“Listed on KuCoin” without “perpetual, 1–8x” is an incomplete sentence if you are talking about this product.
Spot presence on other CEXs per ArbiLayer does not automatically mean those venues match KuCoin’s leverage or funding schedule. Each venue’s announcement is its own source of truth. Cross-check Solana contract addresses on spot pages separately if you are mapping the same underlying token — futures contracts are not Solana SPL transfers. The KuCoin PYBOBO futures lane is specifically the PYBOBOUSDT perpetual described in the Oct 16 notice.
How this fits the listing week
Mid-October’s CEX calendar has been busy with meme and narrative tokens rotating through spot and derivatives zones. KuCoin’s PYBOBOUSDT print sits in that same operational genre as other futures and spot notices we tracked in Bordr MEXC listing and CHOMP MEXC listing: timed opens, leverage bands, and settlement details that get lost when the headline is only the ticker.
The Capybobo branding is meme-native; the KuCoin document is not. Treat the announcement as infrastructure news — a venue turned on a derivatives market — and treat social claims about “guaranteed pumps after futures” as marketing noise. Futures can amplify both directions. Funding every four hours also means carry costs compound differently than a spot bag you forget in a wallet.
Another practical difference versus spot listing days: Innovation-zone and futures launches often restrict API access or change maker/taker fees relative to the main board. KuCoin’s notice for this perpetual should be read for those operational footnotes before anyone assumes a bot can trade it the same way as BTCUSDT. When we cover listing stacks elsewhere — DNA on multiple CEXs, Meme+ spot opens — the recurring lesson is the same: the announcement page is the referee.
What to do as a reader
If you follow KuCoin PYBOBO futures for the calendar, save the official announcement URL, the 09:00 UTC Oct 16 open time, and the 1–8x / 4h funding / ±2% cap trio. Do not confuse this with a spot-only listing or with Gate’s Solana address chatter from other posts — verify contract identity on each venue.
Read funding and liquidation docs on KuCoin before assuming a spot-sized mental model applies. Nothing here is investment advice, and a futures listing is not a quality rating on Capybobo. Re-check the live contract page if you return days later; parameters can be amended in follow-up notices even when the ticker stays the same.
