Kimchi Aura Final Boss is the coin that ate the Solana trenches overnight. Trader Kimchi (@kimchi1x) joined Pump.fun on October 20, a token called "Aura Final Boss" with the ticker KIMCHI went live around 23:00 UTC, and it printed a market cap near $40M within an hour, per Lookonchain. By 06:03 UTC on October 21 it sat around $36M on DexScreener, with insider accusations flying.

What actually happened

Around 23:00 UTC on October 20, the official Pump.fun account swapped its profile visuals, per X's trending summary, and posted a short teaser that pulled roughly 381K impressions. At 23:19 UTC, co-founder Alon quoted it with a long post saying Kimchi represents "a massive social trading ecosystem that onboards retail." That post passed 457K impressions by morning. The Pump.fun Ecosystem account followed up claiming Kimchi "beat his $40M Trump trade in 1 hour."

The token itself is "Aura Final Boss," ticker KIMCHI, contract starting CSocnzcR. DexScreener lists its socials as Kimchi's own X account and a Pump.fun profile. Its PumpSwap pool opened at 23:00:16 UTC, and bot trackers flagged it at about $2.3M within a minute. Lookonchain reported it hit $40M inside an hour, with trading volume around $23.7M at the time of its post.

TechFlow, citing on-chain analyst Ai Yi, reported that Kimchi also moved about 1.35 billion PUMP, worth roughly $6.4M, within three hours. TechFlow's headline calls it a withdrawal while its text says dumped, so treat the direction of that flow as unclear. Alon has confirmed a partnership and says Kimchi is helping Pump.fun with creative direction.

Who is Kimchi, really

Kimchi is a Solana trader known for posting luxury cars, watches and travel rather than trade calls. The "$40M on TRUMP" story made him famous, but no public wallet trail proves it. In July, on-chain researcher Specter reviewed a wallet he says Kimchi once shared publicly and described very early buys on several 2024 launches, including tokens he alleges were bundled. Specter said he found no evidence of an eight-figure TRUMP win.

None of this is proven wrongdoing. It is a reason to separate the persona from the chart. A creator holding about three quarters of supply, according to GMGN data cited by Lookonchain, can move the price more than any number of followers.

The Kimchi Aura Final Boss copycat problem

Within minutes, the trenches did what they always do. A separate "Kimchi Coin" (contract starting 7thgKgtK) was trading near $14M at 06:01 UTC, promoted by an X account created on October 17. One researcher, @entyper, noted that an older KIMCHI token with the exact same "Aura Final Boss" art had existed for about 83 days before this launch, from a different deployer. There is also a Robinhood Chain listing using the same name.

X's own trending summary of the night describes accusations that the coin launched about 13 seconds after Pump.fun's avatar change and that top wallets took more than $1M in profit within an hour. Those are claims from posts, not findings, but they explain why "insider" was the word of the night.

At 06:03 UTC the pool showed about 132.8K buys versus 106.2K sells over 24 hours and a roughly 4% drop over six hours. Liquidity near $607K against a $36M cap means a large holder exit would hit the price hard.

No market, just vibes

There is no live Polymarket market on the Kimchi Aura Final Boss token or on Kimchi himself as of this writing, so there are no odds to quote. For how Pump.fun's broader programs have been rewarding fast flippers, see our Pump.fun Callout breakdown and the Pump.fun top deployers data.

What to do as a reader

Check the contract before anything else. The coin Pump.fun's team is hyping starts with CSocnzcR; other tickers named KIMCHI are different tokens. Look at holder concentration on a Solana explorer, not on a caller's screenshot. If one wallet cluster controls most of the supply, you are trading against it.

Remember the TRUMP team transfers lesson: celebrity-linked coins can stay hot for days, but early supply holders decide when the party ends. Size any position as money you can lose in full, and never chase a beta "pair to KIMCHI" coin from a reply guy. This is not investment advice.
