KuCoin MEME listing puts a taxed ticker on Alpha
KuCoin MEME listing on Alpha (Sept 30) names a Robinhood Chain contract with 1.5% taxes. Gate Alpha listed the same address earlier.
Early story. Some claims here are not officially confirmed yet. We update this post as it confirms.

- KuCoin's English Alpha announcement timestamps 2026/09/30 21:30:00 and lists MEME as "A Meme Coin" on Robinhood Chain at 0x385f4f8ae47651ce5f58f5265395a669f8281e18 with 1.5% buy and 1.5% sell tax.
- The same KuCoin post lists WALLET (Robinhood Wallet) at 0x0339f5459fc690ac85f1782e15782a151b4a9e1b with 1% buy and 1% sell tax.
- Gate's Alpha announcement from September 4 lists MEME on Robinhood with the same contract 0x385F4f8ae47651ce5F58F5265395a669f8281e18, which matches ignoring hex case.

KuCoin MEME listing hit Alpha on September 30, 2026 beside WALLET, and the exchange announcement is the primary paper. Gate Alpha had already listed the same MEME contract earlier in September, which is useful as a second venue check on the address even though that Gate note is older.
What actually happened
KuCoin MEME listing is an Alpha-zone add, not a claim that Binance or Coinbase suddenly embraced a Robinhood Chain joke ticker. KuCoin's notice says tokens in Alpha can be volatile, that KuCoin may suspend or delist if standards slip, and that the English text wins over translations. Those are exchange caveats. Gate's earlier Alpha note carries the usual first-time disclaimer flow too. Shared substance is the MEME contract and the Robinhood chain tag.
WALLET in the same KuCoin post is a second ticker, not a second source for MEME. It is useful context because Robinhood Chain memes are a recurring memcool lane after CashCat and Commander Vrax. Readers can open the CashCat listing note and the Commander Vrax note for other chain-native meme prints. Neither page is this Alpha couple.
Taxes are part of the product
KuCoin prints 1.5% buy and 1.5% sell on MEME and 1% each way on WALLET. Gate's September 4 MEME note does not emphasize those KuCoin tax lines because it is a different venue page. If you route through KuCoin Alpha, believe KuCoin's tax notice. If you route elsewhere, read that venue. Do not assume a 0% Uniswap-style pool because a meme ticker looks familiar.
Contract matching is the only adult move. KuCoin's lowercase hex and Gate's mixed-case hex point at the same 40-hex-character payload for MEME. A different address with the same ticker is a different asset. memcool will not bless a random screenshot that truncates the address.
What this is not
This is not a liquidity audit. Neither announcement prints a market-cap table in the text opened for this draft. A separate KuCoin flash about some other MEME market cap approaching $150M appeared in search results and looked like a different "MEME" project context; it is not used here because it did not cleanly confirm the Robinhood Chain Alpha contract. When the name is generic, the address is the story.
Source hygiene for this desk
Two open pages beat one viral screenshot. If a third aggregator reprints the same press release, it is not a second source. When two desks disagree on a date, a dollar print, or a percentage, memcool keeps both lines and refuses the midpoint. That habit is slower. It is also why this site exists.
Internal links in these notes point at other memcool posts that already cleared SEO and publish checks. They are context, not proof. A link to an unlock note does not confirm a memecoin dinner, and a link to an odds note does not confirm a mainnet.
If you only remember one operational rule, remember this: numbers need a named source in the same sentence or the next one. No source means no number. That rule kills a lot of exciting paragraphs. Good.
What to do as a reader
If you cite KuCoin MEME listing, cite the September 30 Alpha announcement, the Robinhood Chain tag, the full contract, and the 1.5% tax lines. Use Gate's earlier Alpha post only as address confirmation. Primary links: KuCoin's WALLET & MEME Alpha notice and Gate's MEME Alpha notice. Not financial advice. DYOR, ser.
