Kinetiq Elysium mainnet Set for Nov 9 on Hyperliquid
Kinetiq Elysium mainnet goes live November 9: an Arbitrum Orbit L2 settling to HyperEVM with HYPE as gas. HyperCore hooks follow about a month later, and there is no token for now.

- How it is built: an Arbitrum Orbit chain that settles to HyperEVM and uses HYPE, bridged 1:1, as gas, so there is no new gas token.
- Launch guardrails: one sequencer, a data availability committee and a whitelisted validator set, with permissionless fraud proofs via Arbitrum's BoLD promised later.
- No Elysium token and no official points program for now, per Bankless; half of sequencer fees are earmarked for open-market KNTQ buybacks.

Kinetiq Elysium mainnet now has a date: November 9. Kinetiq, the liquid staking protocol behind kHYPE, posted a teaser on October 19 confirming that Elysium, its Hyperliquid-aligned layer 2, goes live that day, per Bankless. The catch is that the chain's headline feature, direct hooks into HyperCore order books, lands about a month later.
What actually happened
Bankless reports the date comes about eight weeks after Kinetiq unveiled Elysium and four weeks after its public testnet opened. The pitch is space. Hyperliquid deliberately keeps HyperEVM blocks small so they do not weigh on HyperCore, its trading engine. That leaves little room for spot trading apps, launchpads and custom AMMs. Elysium wants to be the roomier neighbor that feeds winners back to HyperCore.
Kinetiq's own docs, last updated October 20, describe 100 to 200 millisecond blocks, fees in HYPE and transaction ordering by priority fee "with no privileged lanes." For comparison, the docs list HyperEVM at one-second small blocks.
The same table puts Robinhood Chain, which runs the same Nitro engine, at roughly 100 to 141 milliseconds, Base at 200 millisecond preconfirmations and Solana at about 400 millisecond slots. Kinetiq says it will tune Elysium toward the roughly 100 millisecond Nitro floor as the chain hardens. Its fee design targets market makers who refresh quotes five to ten times a second, and data availability is handled by a committee rather than priced per byte on-chain, which keeps costs low.
The day-one ecosystem
Elysium's ecosystem page lists the DEX Nest as live from the first mainnet block, according to Bankless. Prediction market app Speculate and DEX Dawn have also committed to mainnet, alongside launchpads Montra and Citadel.
That lineup tells you what the chain is for: fast trading and new token launches. If Elysium can offer cheap, quick blocks with HyperCore liquidity behind them, it could become a natural home for trading products built around Hyperliquid, like the Pump.fun perps on Hyperliquid integration we covered.
The HyperCore hooks, later
The feature that makes Elysium special is letting smart contracts read live HyperCore market data and route orders onto HyperCore. Kinetiq's docs slot that into an ArbOS upgrade roughly a month after the Kinetiq Elysium mainnet launch. The docs also warn that specs and timelines could still change before launch.
Launch on November 9, the real magic around December. Plan for the gap.
Until those hooks arrive, Elysium is a fast EVM chain paid in HYPE, which is useful but not unique.
What it means for KNTQ and HYPE
The sequencer fee split gives KNTQ a new revenue line, and it arrives when Kinetiq needs one. Bankless, citing DefiLlama, says Kinetiq's TVL sits more than 60% below its October 2025 peak. At about 06:06 UTC on October 21, CoinGecko had KNTQ around $0.362, up 1.6% in 24 hours, with a market cap near $114.1M. HYPE traded near $80.58.
Buybacks only matter if fees are real, and fees depend on users showing up. For background on the token side, see our Kinetiq kPoints explainer and the HYPE buyback piece.
No market yet
There is no live Polymarket market on the Kinetiq Elysium mainnet date or on KNTQ as of this writing, so there are no odds to quote.
What to do as a reader
If you build on Hyperliquid, try the public testnet now and read the "What is Elysium" docs page for launch parameters. Treat the single sequencer and whitelisted validators as real trust assumptions, not fine print, and size bridged funds accordingly in the early weeks.
If you are hoping for an airdrop, note that Kinetiq has announced no Elysium token and no official points program. Anyone selling "Elysium points" or asking you to connect a wallet to "claim" is not official. Follow Kinetiq's verified accounts for the mainnet bridge link on November 9. Nothing here is investment advice.
