The Gate DNA Launchpool is Gate’s project #383 staking window for NeoSoul’s DNA token: users can stake BTC, ETH or DNA to share 2,800,000 DNA from 11:00 UTC on October 16 through 11:00 UTC on November 6, with rewards paid hourly to spot accounts.

What actually happened

Gate bundled the Launchpool into the same initial-listing announcement that schedules DNA spot and convert trading. The exchange says airdrop rewards distribute hourly based on each user’s share of the staked pool. Early staking is allowed before mining starts so participants can be in the first hour. Gate Labs discloses it did not invest in NeoSoul.

Pool math from the announcement: the BTC and ETH pools each offer 2,222.22 DNA per hour with a 222.22 DNA hourly user cap, while the DNA pool offers 1,111.11 DNA per hour with a 111.11 DNA hourly user cap. Maximum stakes are 5 BTC, 150 ETH or 500,000 DNA; minimums are tiny (0.000001 BTC / 0.00003 ETH / 1 DNA). Those numbers are Gate’s, not ours.

How the Gate DNA Launchpool fits the listing day

The Gate DNA Launchpool sits beside a wider NeoSoul venue stack — KuCoin at 10:00 UTC, Bitget at 11:00 UTC, Binance Alpha the same day — covered in our listing overview. Keeping Launchpool separate matters because staking APR screenshots go stale every hour as TVL changes, while the venue schedule does not.

Participation rules are strict in the fine print: borrowed funds, institutional accounts and subaccounts are out; identity verification is required; UK and other restricted locations are excluded. Cheating voids rewards. That is standard Launchpool hygiene, and it is also why “free DNA” threads in chats usually skip the residency line.

Hourly DNA is an emissions schedule, not a USD yield promise.

NeoSoul’s own site, linked from Gate, repeats the Agent Economy / NeoTrade pitch. For on-chain identity, Gate lists token ID 0xA991F61940095AEA0724ef54077223B048c5CF7b on BscScan. Compare that address with KuCoin and Bitget deposit screens before you bridge. Our NullMask Gate airdrop note is a useful reminder that Gate campaign UIs change and that task pages beat screenshots.

Emissions math without the influencer gloss

Gate’s hourly figures let you sanity-check social APR posts. The BTC pool’s 2,222.22 DNA per hour across the whole pool is the emission rate — not your personal yield. Your share equals your staked BTC divided by total BTC in the pool, then truncated by the 222.22 DNA hourly user cap. When TVL spikes after a listing candle, individual APR collapses even if the headline “2.8M DNA” banner stays constant.

The DNA stake pool is smaller (560k rewards) and caps users at 111.11 DNA per hour, which is the exchange’s way of limiting reflexive looping. Gate also warns that borrowed funds cannot participate. If a strategy thread tells you to loop DNA collateral into the DNA pool, assume it collides with those rules until Gate’s page says otherwise.

Keep the listing overview and the Launchpool page mentally separate. One is about where DNA trades on day one; the other is about how Gate drips inventory to stakers for three weeks. Mixing them is how people confuse a spot wick with a staking return.

Gate’s risk section is unusually blunt for a listing post: early-stage tech, regulatory, and withdrawal failure risks are all named. That language is boilerplate and still more honest than most Telegram banners. Pair it with the fact that rewards are paid in DNA, so your “yield” is denominated in the same asset whose spot book is hours old. If DNA’s first-day candle is violent, your hourly drip marks to that violence in real time.

What to do as a reader

If you are evaluating the Gate DNA Launchpool, read Gate’s table for your pool’s hourly cap and max stake, complete KYC first, and decide whether you are underwriting DNA price risk for three weeks of emissions. Spot DNA opens the same hour mining starts, so the token you earn is immediately mark-to-market on Gate’s book once trading is live.

Track the withdrawal unlock on October 17 if you care about exiting to self-custody. Cross-check the contract, and treat any third-party “APR calculator” as marketing until it matches Gate’s live page. Related exchange-campaign caution is also in our WEEX Axion airdrop write-up. Nothing here is investment advice.
