Binance Intelligence is the exchange's new umbrella for everything AI. Unveiled on a livestream on October 5 by co-CEO Richard Teng and VP of Product Jeff Li, it bundles a free in-app assistant, a paid strategy-building agent and the Agent OS developer platform under one brand.

What actually happened

Binance announced the stack in a press release from Abu Dhabi. The pitch: markets are open to everyone, but the knowledge to navigate them is not, so AI should close the gap. Teng's line was that blockchain gives people access to markets and AI gives them the knowledge to navigate them.

There are three layers. Binance AI powers a new "For You" tab with AI-generated layouts that change based on your knowledge level, interests and what you trade. It includes a Market Brief refreshed every four hours, smart tooltips, widgets like ETF trackers and PnL recaps, and "Master Trade" profiles of experienced traders.

Binance AI Pro is the agent. You type something like "monitor my portfolio for big changes," and it generates a strategy with a visual flowchart. On desktop you get the chat on one side and an editable workflow on the other. Premium users can paper trade and must approve any workflow or trade before it runs.

Agent OS is for builders. It connects external AI tools to Binance APIs, the Wallet Agentic Hub, Binance x402 payments and Skill Hub, with MCP support. Binance says agents can work from ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, within user-set permissions.

The safety rails inside Binance Intelligence

The guardrails are the most important part, so here they are straight from the official Binance press release. Each live AI Pro strategy runs in its own sub-account. You fund it manually. Binance says an agent cannot move funds on its own.

For Agent OS, each agent can get a dedicated sub-account, and access can be revoked any time. Finance Magnates adds that withdrawals are prohibited for connected agents and that there is an emergency control to disconnect them.

AI Pro pricing is freemium. Standard users get monthly credits to generate and preview strategies. Premium at 19.99 USDC a month unlocks live deployment, paper trading, a choice of AI models including frontier models where available, and extra credit top-ups.

An agent with a sub-account and no withdrawal rights is a leash, not a cage. Still read the permissions.

Is any of this actually new?

Finance Magnates was blunt: only the retail assistant is clearly new. Agent OS has been running since August. And a limited paid beta of AI Pro launched on March 25, priced at $9.99 a month after a seven-day trial, with a listed regular price of $29.99.

The new AI Pro is pitched as a no-code workflow builder with paper trading, which the March beta did not list. Binance has not said whether the new release replaces the beta or changes its pricing for existing users. So the honest take is: Binance Intelligence is part new product, part rebrand.

That fits a wider trend we keep covering. Brokers and exchanges want agents living inside their apps, as in our Robinhood Agents piece, and builders want standard plumbing, as in our personal agent gateway breakdown.

What to do as a reader

If you get the For You tab, play with it, but treat AI market briefs like any other feed. They summarize, they do not predict. Cross-check anything that sounds like a signal.

If you try AI Pro, start in paper trading and keep the dedicated sub-account small. The agent writes the code, but you are the one hitting approve. Read every workflow before it goes live, especially anything with leverage.

If you build on Agent OS, scope permissions tightly and keep withdrawal rights off. Revoke keys you are not using.

And watch for the scam wave. A big Binance Intelligence launch is perfect bait for fake "Binance AI" apps and DMs asking you to connect a wallet. Only use the official app and site. Not investment advice, ser. Let the bot help, but you keep the keys.

Not financial advice. DYOR, ser.
