Anthropic ticker odds: $ANT Leads at 22% Before the S-1
Anthropic ticker odds on Polymarket put $ANT at about 22% and $ANTH at about 21%, as reports say the public S-1 could land as soon as Friday, October 23.
Early story. Some claims here are not officially confirmed yet. We update this post as it confirms.

- Yahoo Finance reported, citing three sources, that Anthropic may publicly file its IPO paperwork as soon as Friday.
- Anthropic confirmed on June 1 that it had confidentially submitted a draft S-1 to the SEC; no ticker has been announced.
- Polymarket also prices about a 95% chance that Anthropic lists before OpenAI.

Anthropic ticker odds are the newest side bet on the biggest IPO story in AI. Reports say Anthropic could make its S-1 public as soon as Friday, October 23, and Polymarket traders are already guessing the symbol it will trade under. At our snapshot at 06:08 UTC on October 22, $ANT led at about 22%, with $ANTH right behind at about 21%.
What actually happened
On June 1, Anthropic said it had confidentially submitted a draft registration statement to the SEC. That started a long quiet period, with numbers leaking through the press. This week the timeline sped up. Yahoo Finance reported on October 21 that Anthropic could flip the filing public as soon as Friday. A public S-1 has to be out at least 15 days before a roadshow starts, so a late-October filing points to a listing in November at the earliest.
The money involved is huge. Yahoo's report cites the Wall Street Journal for first-half revenue of $16.3 billion and a net loss above $80 billion, and Reuters for a raise that could reach $100 billion at a $2 trillion valuation. EngineerPal, which tracks the filing, notes that about $72 billion of that loss is a non-cash charge tied to convertible instruments, and cites IFR for a filing around October 26 and a mid-November listing. For the revenue side, see our Anthropic Q3 financials breakdown.
What Polymarket thinks
The ticker market, "What will Anthropic's public ticker be?", had about $129K in volume at our pull. The lead line, "Will Anthropic's public ticker be $ANT?", traded at 0.218, with a 0.211 bid and a 0.225 ask, so roughly 22%.
The rest of the board, rounded:
- $ANTH: about 21%.
- $CLDE: about 6%.
- $APBC: about 5%.
- $AAI: about 3%.
- $CLD, $ANAI, $ARPC and $CLAU: 1% or less each.
The rules say an official announcement is enough to resolve, and a class-letter variant of a listed symbol counts as that symbol. Since the listed lines add up to well under 100%, traders clearly think something off this list is possible.
Why do $ANT and $ANTH lead? They are the obvious short forms of the company name, and both read cleanly on a quote screen. The Claude-themed options trail far behind, which suggests traders expect a corporate-style symbol rather than a product nod. None of that is inside information. It is the crowd guessing what bankers and lawyers will choose.
The company and its exchange pick the ticker. Until they say it out loud, every line here is a guess.
Related Anthropic ticker odds and IPO markets
Other Anthropic markets give the ticker bet context. At our snapshot, Polymarket priced about 63% on an IPO-day closing market cap of $1.8 trillion or more, about 26% on $1.5 to $1.8 trillion, and about 4% on no IPO by December 31, 2027. The "Anthropic or OpenAI first" market sat near 95% for Anthropic. Our earlier Anthropic IPO Polymarket piece tracked how fast those numbers moved.
The viral claim to ignore
A screenshot going around says page 32 of Anthropic's S-1 lists "time travel" as a risk factor. There is no public S-1 yet, so there is no page 32 to quote. EngineerPal flagged the claim as unsourced, and we found nothing that backs it. If the real filing lands Friday, the actual risk factors will be readable by anyone, and they are likely to be about compute costs, competition and safety rules, not science fiction.
What to do as a reader
If you trade the ticker market, know what moves it. Exchanges and companies sometimes reveal symbols in the public S-1 itself, so Friday could resolve this in one shot. Be careful with thin lines below 5%, because spreads there are wide.
If you want exposure to the IPO itself, wait for the real document. Read the share classes, lockups and loss breakdown rather than leaked headlines. Anthropic ticker odds are a fun read on crowd mood, not investment advice and not a signal to buy anything on day one.
